What We Believe

1. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, the product of men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by Holy Spirit.
   (2 Tim 3:16, 1 Thess 2:13)

2. We believe Our God is One, manifested in 3 separate persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, all being equal.
God is greater than all, the source of the Word of God.
(John 16:28, John 10:30, John 16:13)

3. We believe The Son is the Word, the Only Begotten, and has existed with The Father from the beginning.
(John 1:1, John 1:18)

4. We believe The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead and He represents both The Father and The Son and He is eternal.
(John 16:13)

5. We believe man is a created being, made in the image and likeness of God. Through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifest in the flesh to undo the work of the devil, give His life for mankind, and shed His blood to redeem
and restore man back to God.
   (Rom 5:10-19)

6. We believe man's first step towards salvation is Godly sorrow that brings repentance. The new birth is necessary for all man and, when fulfilled,
produces eternal life with The Father.
(2 Cor 7:10, John 3:35-36)

7. We believe Baptism in water is by immersion and is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only.
The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.
(Matt 28:19, Rom 6:4, Col 2:11-12, Acts 8:36-39)

8. We believe that the Lord Jesus baptises us with Holy Spirit and with Fire. One evidence of this is speaking in other tongues as Holy Spirt
Himself gives utterance.
(Matt 3:11, John 14:16-17, Acts 19:6, Acts 2:4)

9. We believe the bible teaches that without holiness, no man can see the Lord.
We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite yet progressive work of grace. It commences at the time of the new birth.
   (Heb 10:10-14, Heb 12:14-16)

10. We believe that God heals today...as He wills.
   (Mark 16:17-18, James 5:14-15, Matt 8:17, Isaiah 53:4-5)

11. We believe in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His bride.
   (Acts 1:9-11, Matt 24:24-44, 1 Thess 4:16-17)

12. We believe the one who physically dies in his sin without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire.
  Therefore, they have no further opportunity of repentance. We believe the lake of fire is a literal place. The term eternal used in describing
  the duration of the punishment, carries the same meaning as everlasting.
   (Luke 16:19-31, John 3:36)

13. We believe the ordinance of the Lord's Supper (communion) shall be observed regularly as demonstrated in the Word of God.
   (Luke 22:19-20, 1 Cor 11:23-26)

14. We believe in a heterosexual relationship between a natural man and a natural woman within the confines of marriage as ordained by the Lord.
   (1 Cor 6:9 -10, Heb 13:4, Gen 2:24)

15. We believe that human life, which begins at conception, is precious and to be cherished. No person has the right before the Lord to intentionally
  destroy the life of another.
   (Psalm 127:3, Exodus 21:22-25, Psalm 139:13-16).
