| Salvation | Is Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Saviour?
Since Adam, each of us have broken God's laws and standards. In fact, we were all born into sin, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Our sin seperated us from God and without God we face an eternity in hell.
Because God is a good God, He must punish sin. To put this another way, it is the goodness of God that seals our fate.
All the good we have done, all our good works will not save us from the wrath of God. Our good works cannot outweigh our bad deeds before God.
This is a dilemma that all of us face and we cannot save ourselves.
Because of our dilemma, God came down to man, in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life as one man with two natures:
fully God and fully man. Jesus willingly laid down His life on the cross, He gave His life for us. On the cross, this perfect person offered His perfect life, as
a perfect sacrifice in order to perfectly satisfy the perfect wrath of God. He died on the cross, was buried and three days later rose from the dead, thus
proving that He was who He said He was: God in human flesh.
The only way to have the wrath of God removed from us is to repent of sin, turn to God for forgiveness because of what Christ did on the cross: He shed His blood for the remission of sins.
There is salvation in no one else, only Christ and Him alone. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the the Father except through Me".
